17) Using the digits in the 1s and the 10s place respectively make a two digit number and write the prime factors.

Because of respectively make a two digit number you have to use the order that they said first which was the ones place, so the number in the 1s place is 5 then the 7 is in the 10s place. Now you make a number using that order so 57.

Because the prime factor itself is a prime number the only factors are 1 and itself.
So the prime factors are 57 and 1.
18) Add negative 2 to the digit in the 10s place using pictures.
-2+ 7=5
Diagram: There is two negatives - - and there is 7 postives + + + + + + +
So its asking to add them together. If your adding a negative number and a postive number what ever number in the equation is bigger thats the kind of number you'll get. Ex. -3+4.
4 is bigger than 3 so the symbol you'll have a postive. So now you have to make a zero pair. You have 2 negatives and 7 postives. You have enough +s so you put 2 negatives and postives together -+ -+ and you imaginaryly throw them away. Now you are left with +++++ and thats your answer.
19) Subtract negative 3 from the digit in the ones place using pictures
5-(-3)= +2
This is because you have five positives +++++ and 3 negatives - - - . Then you have to take away negatives, so you have enough postives so you make your zero pairs. So you end up taking away 3 zero pairs. +- +- +- and your are left with 2 positives + +. and thats you answer!!
20) Write a fraction using the 1000s place as the denominator and the tenths places as the numerator.
8675.309 in this number 8 is in the thousands place and 3 is in the tenths place.
If 8 is the denominator then its at the bottom blank/8 so now 4 is at the top 4/8 you can still simplify this into 1/2.
21) Use any 2 digits to make an improper fraction.
Just to remind you an improper fraction is a fraction where the numerator is bigger than the denominator.
So now you just choose 2 numbers where the numerator will be bigger than the denominator. Like: 8/5 , 7/6 and 9/3. You try and find the rest of the improper fractions.
22) Use any digits to make a mixed fraction.
A mixed fraction is a fraction where it has a whole number and a proper fraction.
Now just choose a number for a whole number, and number for a numerator and a number for the denominator. Make sure the numerator isnt bigger than the denominator or that will become a improper fraction. Like 3 4/8
23) Write the answer to the number 22 as a decimal.
3 4/8 So you first you know that you can simplify it so 4/8 is now 1/2. so its 3 1/2. Now you divide, so 1 divided by 2 then you'll get .5. Now you have the whole left so its 3.5
24) Draw a picture to represent the answer to number 22

Okay now you had 3 4/8 right? So there was 3 wholes, and 4/8 when i drew mine I did mine simplified into 1/2.
25) Write the answer is 21 as a percent.
Because there was alot of ways to make an improper fraction I will just pick one.
6/5 is my improper fraction. So now you just divide the numerator with the denominator. So its 6 divided by 5 is 1.2 then you multiply it by a hundred.
OR
You can do this...

Here is a song that will help you with integers.
